Hi there and welcome to 'Hell Girl', a fan site for the anime Jigoku Shoujo which was first shown in Japan in 2005 with a second seasion realeased in late 2006.

The series revolves around a young girl called Enma Ai who makes offers to make contracts with people who seek revenge by accessing her website at midnight. The target of the revenge is taken immediately to hell but in exchage the person initaiting the contract will be sent to hell when they die. The first season of Jigoku Shoujo has been licensed by FUNimation. The title to be used for the US release is 'Hell Girl' with the first DVD due for release in October. The licensing was announced at the FUNimation panel at Sakura-con. You can read the details on animeOnline.
