The first season of Jigoku Shoujo has been licensed by FUNimation. The title to be used for the US release is 'Hell Girl' with the first DVD due for release in October. The licensing was announced at the FUNimation panel at Sakura-con. You can read the details on animeOnline.

Recently Shinsen Subs have released new subtitled episodes of Jigoku Shoujo Futakomori up to episode 9. Many thanks to them and hopefully there will be more released soon. The screencaps section of the site is now pretty much up to date and I have added some more animated gifs as well as some clips of Ichimoku Ren in his character profile.

Hope you all have enjoyed your holidays and best wishes for 2007. Sadly it has been a while since any new fansubs of Jigoku Shoujo Futakomori have come out but fingers crossed we will see some more soon. Finished off the screencaps section for the first series and started work on a little Jigoku Shoujo Quiz written in php.

The site transfer to the new server and domain is complete. The new address for the site is hellgirl.animemahou.com and, since 110mb came back up, the old page now redirects to here. Made a couple of updates: - Screencaps are now up to episode 14 - Pictures section has been reorganized - Added some more animated gifs - Custom 404 page.

Subject: Update

For the past week or so there has been alot of slowness on the site with some pages not loading at all. The host (110mb) are working on these issues and suspect they know what the problem is however it may take a while for them to get fixed.

Made some update to the site:
- Added content to the animated gifs section.
- Epsiode commentary now up to episode 7.
- Screencaps now up to episode 10.
- Tweaked some of the navigation controls.

Added three new episode commentaries and screencaps (2-4). Created a new AMVs section with lots of Jigoku Shoujo Anime Music Videos from YouTube ^_^. Made some bug fixed to the php code for the comments and news section but things will still be unstable for a while longer as my host (110mb) is migrating to new, faster servers.
